The Print Collateral Communications team, falling under the Guest Information & Collateral organization, creates, edits and produces all print communication for our Guests across the Walt Disney World Resort. This collateral ranges from Resort-local buckslips to guidemaps for entire Theme Parks. Much of the print collateral communication is also edited and produced in a variety of languages, in support of translation-certified Cast Members around the world.

Resort Operation Assistants at each of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels also create, edit and produce the internal print communication documents, like the weekly Tell-A-Cast.

PRINT COLLATERAL

I served as the People section editor and worked as a student writer for the 2013-2014 Petit Jean, Harding University's yearbook. As the People Section Editor, I assigned stories and photos to writers and photographers, named and placed photos on the spreads and collaborated with the staff on special projects. As a student writer, I was responsible for contacting sources, conducting interviews, transcribing interviews, fact-checking and writing feature stories. petit jean

I worked as the Head Copy Editor for the 92nd edition of the Petit Jean yearbook for the 2015-2016 school year. In this executive position, I had many of the same responsibilities I had when working as a student writer and the People Section Editor. However, I also was responsible for working with the class of student writers and editing each piece of copy used in our 400-page publication. The bison

I worked as a student writer for The Bison, Harding University's campus newspaper during the 2015-2016 school year. As a student writer, I was responsible for pitching story ideas, contacting sources, conducting interviews, transcribing interviews, maintaining AP style and writing articles. As a class requirement, I wrote at least one article per section of the newspaper. The student newspaper produces 10 issues per semester, including an expanded edition for Homecoming and Spring Sing, and a joke edition for April Fools' Day.
